Mondays are fabulous. As jarring as that may sound because I love my weekends just as much as the next person, Mondays are an excellent starting point to restart after any damage you did to your body over the weekend. You get to hit the restart button. Fitchick is a lifestyle that encompasses real life living. You can’t be good 100% of the time. We encourage you to cheat every once in a while, have a crazy weekend, take a vacation and don’t worry about the calories… Eat the gosh darn taco! But on Monday we get back into the groove of eating well and taking care of ourselves. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Just enjoy it, live in the moment, make memories and take pictures. You are supposed to love your life and live it to the fullest. After all, you designed it.

Sometimes our reset/ restart Monday isn’t as soon as we would like it to be. Life happens. Injuries, personal issues, schedule and so on. But the best part of having self-love isn’t selfish. Its being selfless but to yourself. Love yourself enough to make time for you. Personally, I think Johnny Depp says it best “Keep moving forward and don’t give a shit about what anybody else thinks. Do what you have to do for you”. Fitness is the worthiest of investments and Monday is the perfect time to get up, move your ass and make a deposit.
